As a lifelong pet parent and an avid traveler, this smile-provoking video from TikTok user @siberian_reinhardt makes me wonder why I never considered exploring the world with at least some of my pets.
Many people don’t realize that cats can behave very much like dogs. They play fetch, join people for walks, and provide amazing companionship. While seeing a kitty on a leash strolling around a park with his owner is not that uncommon, hiking or traveling with a cat is a whole other story.
There are plenty of practical questions to consider, including which airlines to fly, the added cost of traveling with pets and staying in pet-friendly hotels, as well as visiting sites of interest with a pet. Some of the viewers asked those questions, regarding flying with a cat in particular.
I imagine the first few trips could require some research and preparation but all the planning probably becomes easier with experience. The outcome looks effortless and happy. This fabulous cat is lucky and he definitely could claim having traveled more than some grown-up people!
